Deerline Sales Ltd. - Quality Service, Products, People!
Deerline Sales Ltd. is a three store John Deere dealership located in an area of north-central Alberta ranging from just north of Edmonton up to the north east edge of the Peace River country. We have stores in Westlock, Barrhead and High Prairie, AB. These three communities are agricultural service centers for a large diversified area. The dealership started operations in January 1993 upon purchasing the predecessor John Deere dealer, A. Miller Farm Equipment Ltd. and took over its operations in Westlock and Barrhead. The third store was added with the purchase of the High Prairie operation from Peyre Farm Equipment Ltd. in April, 2005. The company has grown and prospered over the years by building upon three basic tenets - providing superior customer service, having the best people and selling quality products and services.
Agriculture Base
The agricultural area we serve is strong and diverse. Primary crops grown in our area include wheat, barley, canola, field peas, timothy and alfalfa. Farmers are also trying new crops with nutraceutical value such as Echinacea and borage. A large percentage of our customers are also in livestock, primarily cattle, hogs and chickens. Exotic animal breeds include elk, emu, rhea, ostrich, alpacas, llamas, bison, white tail deer, goats and a variety of game fowl. We are blessed with a good climate, which usually provides plentiful rain and long hours of sunshine during the summer.
This in combination with generally fertile soil often leads to above average yields for the Canadian prairies. All in all, the farming community is well established, progressive and diverse.
The Dealership
Our dealership sells primarily John Deere equipment including the full range of tractors, skid steer loaders, small grain combines, seeding and tillage as well as hay and forage equipment. We also sell the full line of John Deere lawn & grounds care equipment. We are also dealers for short line manufacturers such as Brandt equipment, Brent grain carts, Degelman, Renn, Stihl, Supreme, Summers and Anderson as well as a number of others.

We provide first class parts and service support for the products that we sell. We also can meet the general replacement and maintenance parts needs for all makes of agricultural and lawn & grounds care equipment. Our service department also has the skills to repair all makes of agricultural and lawn & grounds care equipment. We are proud of the after-sales support that we provide and are always striving to improve on it.
