John Deere IGuide Adds Accuracy When Farming on Slopes
Assisted-steering systems, such as John Deere GreenStar™ AutoTrac, have helped growers become more efficient in their operations by reducing passes through the field, saving fuel, and reducing operator fatigue. For operations on hillsides or contour field conditions, however, there is a tendency for slippage downhill by the implement that can take the machinery off track when making passes through the field.
